HouseMe – September 2025 Toyota Corolla Giveaway:
Terms and Conditions
1. Eligibility and Entry
- The giveaway promotion starts 8am Monday 1 September 2025 and closes at 11:59pm on Tuesday 30 September 2025.
- To be eligible, customers must place a deposit with Compact Homes Limited (HouseMe) for a HouseMe unit during September 2025.
- To qualify for the draw, the customer must have paid in full for their unit by
1 February 2026. - Each customer will receive one entry per fully paid unit purchased.
- Current employees, shareholders, directors, contractors of HouseMe and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
2. Prize Draw
- The draw will take place on 1 February 2026, conducted by Bryce Glover, General Manager – Sales & Marketing, HouseMe.
- The winner will be drawn at random from all valid entries received.
- The prize is one brand-new 2025 Toyota Corolla (model details to be confirmed), including on-road costs (registration, 12-month WOF, and a full tank of petrol).
- The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and no cash alternative will be offered.
3. Travel and Handover
- The vehicle must be collected from HouseMe’s primary place of business at 23 Inlet Road, Takanini, Auckland.
- If the winner resides outside a 200km radius of this address, HouseMe will cover flights and one night’s accommodation for the winner and one guest (to a maximum of $1,500 incl. GST).
- For South Island winners, HouseMe will also cover vehicle ferry costs (Interislander or Bluebridge).
- Official ownership will be transferred at the time of collection.
- Insurance, servicing, and all ongoing vehicle-related costs are the winner’s sole responsibility.
4. Photography and Media
- By accepting the prize, the winner grants HouseMe permission to take professional photos and/or video of:
a) The vehicle handover, and
b) The HouseMe unit at its installed location (with the winner’s agreement, not unreasonably withheld). - These may be used by HouseMe for promotional and marketing purposes.
5. Warranties and Liability
- To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- HouseMe excludes all warranties relating to the quality, suitability, or merchantability of the vehicle.
- HouseMe will not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury connected with the promotion or the prize, including any persons accompanying the winner.
- HouseMe assumes no responsibility for tax liabilities, variations in vehicle value, or any costs arising after the vehicle leaves its possession.
6. General
- By entering, entrants agree that any personal information provided will be held in accordance with HouseMe’s Privacy Policy.
- The promotion and giveaway are in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Toyota.
- HouseMe reserves the right to withdraw and replace the Toyota Corolla with an item of equivalent value should the specified vehicle be unavailable.
- HouseMe reserves the right to amend these terms at any time, provided such changes do not materially disadvantage entrants.
