My sister and I live in the unit so there's two bedrooms and then a lounge in the middle and then a bathroom coming out of one of the rooms. We've lived in it for about one and a half two years now. We really enjoy it. It gives us privacy, a quiet place to study, and our own space with friends - it's really good. If you need a space away from mom and dad, brothers, sisters -yeah it's perfect.

From Heartbreak to a Fresh Start
How Michelle Found Her Forever Home With HouseMe's No Deposit Finance: "Every repayment I make now is for my own home. I'm not paying someone else's mortgage anymore. That's a pretty special feeling."
Life has a way of changing when you least expect it. For Michelle, everything she had worked so hard to build changed almost overnight. After losing her husband, she was faced with rebuilding her life from the ground up. Along with losing her soulmate, she also lost the family home and the business they had built together. Financially and emotionally, it was one of the most difficult periods of her life.
Like many New Zealanders, Michelle found herself asking the question: "Where do I go from here?"
She knew one thing for certain. She didn't want another large home. She didn't want to keep living in the city. More than anything, she wanted to be closer to her family and spend as much time as possible with her grandchildren.
Today, Michelle has exactly that. Her modern HouseMe home now sits on her son's farm, surrounded by open space, family and everything that matters most. We sat down with Michelle to talk about her journey, how No Deposit Finance made it possible, and what life looks like today.
